Master of Arts, History Plan A (thesis): Total 30 credit hours
Major Area Coursework
- HIST 780 - HISTORIOGRAPHY 3 cr hrs
- HIST 782 - RESEARCH SEMINAR IN HISTORY 3 cr hrs
- HIST 798 - THESIS 1 to 6 cr hrs (6 credit hours required)
- Two HIST seminar courses (7xx) 6 credit hours
- Departmental electives 6 credit hours
- Departmental or non-departmental electives 6 credit hours
Note: Plan A students must take an oral examination. Graduate transfer credits are limited to six hours and must receive approval from the Department.
Master of Arts, History Plan B (non-thesis): Total 33 credit hours
Major Area Coursework
- HIST 780 - HISTORIOGRAPHY 3 cr hrs
