Master of Social Work Plan B (non-thesis): Total 60 credit hours required-Standard Track Degree Requirements
Standard Track students are individuals who do not have a baccalaureate social work degree from a CSWE-accredited program. Standard Track students begin courses in the fall term. Below is the Standard Track course schedule for the full-time student: Year One/Foundation Year - Fall (12 credit hours)
Year One/Foundation Year - Spring (12 credit hours)
Year One/Bridge Courses/Transition to 2nd Year - Summer (12 credit hours)
Year Two/Concentration Year - Fall (12 credit hours)
Year Two/Concentration Year - Spring (12 credit hours)
Master of Social Work Plan B (non-thesis): Total 36 credit hours required-Advanced Track Degree Requirements
For individuals who hold a baccalaureate degree in Social Work (e.g. BSW/BSSW) from a CSWE-accredited program, where a 36 credit hour Advanced Track concentration curriculum is offered. Below is the Advanced Track course schedule for the full-time student. Individuals who hold a baccalaureate degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program and who completed their undergraduate degrees more than seven years from the date of application are encouraged to take SOCW 620 - RESEARCH METHODS I for a total of 39 credit hours. Year One-1st Semester/Bridge Courses/Transition to 2nd Year - Summer (12 credit hours)
Year One/2nd Semester/Concentration Year - Fall (12 credit hours)
