PROGRAM SUMMARY
The Education Doctorate (Ed.D.) in Educational Administration & Leadership program is designed for school district superintendents, elementary and secondary principals, special education directors, curriculum directors, adult educators, and higher education administrators and classroom instructors. This program will develop professionals who can add substantially to their field with original and ongoing work as well as perform effectively as practitioners on the job. The Adult and Higher Education program encourages the student/learner to be a participant in the process, to choose directions and to make worthwhile contributions. Since January 1956 the USD School of Education has been fully accredited by National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).
Delivery: On campus
Doctor of Education, Adult & Higher Education: Total 90-95 credit hours with a minimum of 60 credit hours beyond a conferred master’s degree
