The Literacy Leadership and Coaching Certificate is designed for practicing teachers who have completed the Master’s Degree Elementary Education / Reading Specialist Degree. Curriculum Leaders, and/or certified Reading Specialists who are seeking to improve their skills in literacy coaching, program leadership, and working with diverse populations of students.

Certificate Requirements

ELED 752 - Reading/Literacy Program Leadership and Change 3 cr hrs
ELED 755 - Research & Practices in Reading in the Elementary School 2 to 3 cr hrs (3 credit hours required)
ELED 756 - Early Literacy Assessment & Intervention 3 cr hrs
ELED 757 - Assessment, Diagnosis, and Interventions for Effective Reading Instruction 3 cr hrs
