Kinesiology and Sport Management (M.A.)

Admissions Information  

The Master’s degree is offered with the option of Plan A (thesis) or Plan B (non-thesis).

Master of Arts, Kinesiology and Sport Management-Exercise Science Specialization Only, Plan A (thesis): Total 30 credit hours


Core Coursework (12 credit hours)


Exercise Science Specialization (18 credit hours)


Note: The Master of Kinesiology in Sport Management, Plan A is only offered with the Exercise Science Specialization.

Student Learning Outcomes


  1. Students will demonstrate oral communication skills by disseminating information pertaining to their research interests in the area of either Exercise Science or Sport Management.
  2. Students will demonstrate the ability to collect and interpret data by literature reviews and/or by mini-action research projects.
  3. Students will demonstrate competence in promoting and understanding Diversity: either by working with multi-cultural individuals or at specific KSS related diversity site settings.
  4. Students will demonstrate the ability the use of technology in their specific specialization of study in KSS.
