Master of Arts with Joint Juris Doctor, History Plan A (thesis): Total 30 credit hours

Major Area Coursework

HIST 780 - Historiography 3 cr hrs
HIST 782 - Research Seminar in History 3 cr hrs
HIST 798 - Thesis 1 to 6 cr hrs (6 credit hours required)
Two HIST seminar courses (7xx) 6 credit hours
Law courses 12 credit hours

Note: Plan A students must take an oral examination.

Master of Arts with Joint Juris Doctor, History Plan B (non-thesis): Total 33 credit hours

Major Area Coursework

HIST 780 - Historiography 3 cr hrs

History seminar courses (7xx) 15 credit hours
