Program Overview
A 12-credit hour certificate, it is designed for the practicing educator who is interested in learning more about teaching students of American Indian descent. Address challenges facing American Indian students, make culturally responsive teaching a component of your instruction, share strength-based approaches to build on American Indian assets and resiliency and help prioritize social and emotional supports that work. This 100% online program can be started in any semester. Most of the courses are offered over the summer. Learn more at usd.edu/online-aied.
