Communication Studies (B.A., B.S.)


33 Major Hours, 120 Degree Hours


Students in this major must also complete requirements for a degree in the College of Arts & Sciences .

Electives (12 hours)


The remaining 12 hours in the major are to be selected from any courses with a CMST prefix. Three courses (9 hours) must be upper-division (300- and 400-level) courses. 

Notes:


A maximum of 6 hours total of CMST 376: Instructional Training, CMST 491: Independent Study, and CMST 494: Internship may count in the hours of the major.

CMST 101 may not be counted in the total hours required for a Communication Studies major.
