Physical Sciences Teaching Minor

Minor Requirements

• SEED 413 - 7-12 Science Methods (C) 3 cr hrs

• 12 hours in one area of Chemistry, Physics or Earth Science.

• 9 additional hours selected from the other areas.

Requirement for South Dakota Teacher Certification

For South Dakota teacher certification, there must be a “Fundamental Principles of Chemistry” course, “Fundamental Principles of Physics” course, and one Earth Sciences course in either geology, meteorology, astronomy, or oceanography.
