30 Major Hours + 41 Education Certification courses for Double Major
For a teaching major in History, complete the History degree along with the appropriate teaching certification courses. Students should also meet with advisors in the School of Education’s Center for Student and Professional Services to discuss requirements.
No minor is required for this program.

Departmental Requirements (36 hours)
Departmental Electives (15-21 hours, Double major 12-15)
A minimum of 6 hours of American history and a minimum of 6 hours of non-American history must be included; 3 hours of each for double majors.
Diversity Requirement (0-6 hours, Double major 0-3)
