Arts in Health Graduate Certificate


Program Overview


This 12 credit-hour certificate teaches basic and advanced health care concepts and how the fine arts can cross over to help develop patient care tools to assist medical professionals with patient treatment. Learn about the principles behind arts in health work, various cultures and how they may perceive fine arts as a health care tool and ethical artistic practices used in this field. Gain hands-on experience through an internship to apply acquired knowledge to real-world health care arenas. Accredited by NASAD since 1979.  Learn more at usd.edu/arts-in-health.
