Arts in Health Certificate

Students will learn about basic and advanced healthcare concepts, and how the fine arts can crossover to help develop patient care tools to assist medical professionals in patient treatment. Students will learn about the principles behind arts in health work, various cultures and how they may perceive fine arts as a healthcare tool, and ethical standards of artistic practices used in this field. Students will also gain hands-on experience regarding appropriate use of fine arts approaches and participate in an internship to apply acquired knowledge to real world healthcare arenas.
