Program Overview

Certificate Requirements - 12 Credit Hours

BADM 760 - Operations Management 3 cr
DSCI 527 - Supply Chain Management 3 cr
Select 2 of the following courses (6 cr hrs):
BADM 592 - Topics in Business (C) 1 to 3 cr (3 credit hours required; must be related to operations or supply chain management and approved by Graduate Program Coordinator)
DSCI 526 - Lean Management 3 cr
DSCI 541 - Project Management 3 cr
DSCI 723 - Data Management and Warehousing 3 cr
DSCI 727 - Quality and Six Sigma Management 3 cr
Students need to meet prerequisite requirements to be eligible for the advanced courses in this certificate program. These courses include undergraduate coursework in production and operations management (required for program) and statistics (required if students wish to take DSCI 727), and marketing (required for DSCI 527). The Beacom School of Business offers these courses both as online undergraduate courses and online graduate-level foundations courses. Challenge exams are also available.
