Program Overview
The 12 credit-hour certificate provides teachers with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively integrate interdisciplinary science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education into the K-12 classroom. After developing a comprehensive understanding of STEM education, students will further expand their knowledge, skills, and confidence in STEM education by aplying what they have learned through an internship experience in their current classroom. This program is intended for practicing elementary, middle and secondary teachers, as well as to those who pursuing a master’s in elementary education, secondary education, technology for education and traiing, or any STEM field.
