Pre-Chiropractic

Students interested in chiropractic medicine (Doctor of Chiropractic - DC) should research the individual program/s to which they plan to apply for specific admissions requirements. Students may pursue any major of interest. Chiropractic schools like to see significant extracurricular activity such as experience with chiropractic professionals, volunteer, leadership, and research. A list of accredited chiropractic programs can be found at the American Chiropractic Association (ACA).  Additional information about chiropractic programs and education can be found at ACA: https://www.acatoday.org/.  Pre-Chiropractic students at USD may use the following curriculum as a guide in completing prerequisites.

Chiropractic pre-admission requirements vary from school to school.  Students are strongly encouraged to choose schools to which they would like to apply and work with an advisor to design an appropriate pre-chiropractic curriculum.
