Strategic Behavioral Practices for Educators Graduate Certificate

Program Overview:

This graduate certificate program is to provide additional preparation for PK-12 teachers, administrators, and other education professionals related to meeting the behavior needs of PK-12 learners. Special Education is the closest field with which this program aligns. This program does not lead to certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Certificate Requirements-12 Credit Hours Required

• SPED 501 - Positive Behavior Supports in Schools 3 cr
• SPED 502 - Strategic Behavior Identification & Practices for Educators 3 cr
• SPED 741 - Educating Students With Emotional & Behavior Disorders 3 cr

•  

• Complete 3 hours of the following: 

• SPED 794 - Internship (M.A.) (C) 1 to 8 cr
• SPED 795 - Practicum in Special Education 1 to 6 cr

2. $40 application fee
