Pre-Engineering

Students desiring to go into engineering should be aware of the fact that The University of South Dakota does not have an engineering program. There are, however, a number of required courses included in most engineering curricula which may be taken at the University. Those who wish to attend the University for two years prior to transfer should consult the catalogs of the engineering schools to which they anticipate transfer. The Departments of Mathematical Sciences and Earth Sciences/Physics are prepared to advise interested students.
