18 HOURS
The Archaeology Minor exists so that students can explore the world of the past from the perspectives of Classics, Ancient History and Anthropology. A foundational course in Archaeology is required for all students (3 credit hours):
- ANTH 230 - Introduction to Archaeology (C)
In addition, students must take at least one course from each of the three fields below, with two additional elective courses selected from the list (total 15 credit hours).
Note for Anthropology majors:
Any course counted for the Anthropology Major cannot be used to complete this minor. Anthropology majors must select 18 hours from the above list because ANTH 230 is required for both the major and minor.
