Minor Requirements

• PHGY 220 - Human Anatomy/Physiology I
• PHGY 220L - Human Anatomy/Physiology Laboratory
• PE 271 - Introduction to Coaching Men & Women
• PE 350 - Exercise Physiology (C)
• PE 354 - Prevention & Care of Athletic Injuries (C)
• PE 454 - Biomechanics (C)

• PE Coaching Course  2cr

• PE 200-204 Professional Prep: Activity 1cr

Coaching Certification Requirement

One of the following courses is required for coaching certification, but the hours do not count towards the Minor. Each state has certain requirements for eligibility to coach. Students are encouraged to contact the state high school athletic associations in the state(s) they wish to coach for updated requirements.

• EPSY 422 - Psychology of Adolescence (C)
