A student electing a minor in Spanish must take at least one upper-division course taught in Spanish. Students with a high school or other background in Spanish may earn credit by examination for introductory and intermediate level courses. See department for details.

Minor Requirements

The following courses are required:
SPAN 102 - Introductory Spanish II (C)
SPAN 201 - Intermediate Spanish I (C)
SPAN 202 - Intermediate Spanish II (C)
SPAN 320 - Intensive Spanish Grammar Review

Select 5 credit hours from the following:

SPAN 3xx courses (300-level coursework)
SPAN 494 - Internship
