Lake Area Technical Institute (LATI) and The University of South Dakota (USD) collaborative 1+ 1 Program
The 1+ 1 LPN to RN program is delivered only at Lake Area Technical Institute in Watertown, South Dakota. The 1+ 1 program is a collaborative program designed to allow LPN’s who graduate from LATI to enter the USD Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) curriculum with advanced standing and complete the ADN program in an additional 11 months.

LATI PN Program
The graduate of LATI PN program (currently licensed or with license pending) and continuing at the USD Watertown campus, will be granted 12 nursing credits upon completion of the LPN GAP examination: The LATI/USD 1+1 student must complete all general education courses, as well as:
