INED 211 - South Dakota American Indian Culture and Education (C) [SGR #3] This course is an education focused study of the history, culture, values, family structures, traditional religions, legends, and governmental policies of South Dakota American Indian groups. Students are expected to apply the selected concepts and theories to contemporary issues in the state and region. Areas addressed are the educational application of American Indian cultural dynamics, history, teaching, and learning.
