NURS 486 - Transition to Practice Clinical Immersion

This clinical experience includes a reality- based clinical immersion experience in the practice setting to support student’s knowledge application, skill development and refinement, and role development as a member of an interprofessional team. It incorporates critical reflection of the immersion experience and synthesizes of all concepts to support student’s transition into practice and their role as a baccalaureate generalist nurse as Provider of Care; Designer, Manager, and Coordinator of Care; and Member of the Profession.

Prerequisites and Corequisites
Co-Requisite: must be taken concurrently with NURS 484.
