CHEM 106 - Chemistry Survey (C) [SGR #6, HSDC]

A one-semester survey of chemistry. Introduction to the properties of matter, atomic structure, bonding, stoichiometry, kinetics, equilibrium, states of matter, solutions, and acid-base concepts.

Prerequisites and Corequisites
Course prerequisite or co-requisite starting spring 2024: MATH 101 MATH 103 MATH 104 MATH 114 MATH 115 MATH 120 MATH 121 MATH 123 MATH 125 MATH-281/STAT 281 or MATH-ACT 20 or higher, MATH-SAT 471 or higher, or Smarter Balance 2628 or higher.

Course corequisite: CHEM 106L

Effective spring 2024, the math requirement is either a prerequisite or a co-requisite. Previously it was a prerequisite only.
