PHYS 775 - General Relativity (C)

Description This course includes study of Minkowski Space, tensor algebra and calculus, non-Euclidean Geometry, and the Einstein Field Equations. Applications will be chosen from such topics as the Schwarzchild, Kerr, and Reisner-Nordstrom solutions, gravitational waves, Post-Newtonian Formulisms, 3 + 1 formulism, and other topics of interest.
Prerequisites and Corequisites Prerequisites: PHYS 421 and PHYS 451
