SOCW 630 - Generalist Practice II

Description This course focuses on generalist social work practice which builds upon the knowledge, skills, and values introduced in SOCW 610. Emphasis is given to knowledge, skills, and values in the assessment, engagement, intervention, and evaluation of intervention groups and families. Further, the course provides a survey into some of the major theories guiding micro-level practice such as Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral, and Motivational Interviewing.
