SOCW 650 - Practice-Informed Quantitative Research 3 cr
Description Introduces students to the basic principles of quantitative social work research, including ethics, problem formulation, and quantitative research designs and methodologies. Emphasis is placed on teaching students to become critical thinkers and responsible consumers of quantitative research. In addition, students will learn how to utilize various quantitative research strategies and methodologies to evaluate social service programs and practice outcomes. Prerequisites and Corequisites Registration Restriction: Enrolled in MSW program or instructor consent.
