BIOL 521 - Advanced Geospatial Analyses

Description This course applies open-source remote sensing and GIS to address ecological questions through research projects. Students will also be introduced to planetary scale remote sensing and multi-sensor approaches. Geospatial application areas include terrain modeling, rangeland/natural resource management, precision agriculture, forestry/vegetation, natural disasters such as drought & floods.
Prerequisites and Corequisites Pre-reqs: BIOL 484 / BIOL 584 , BIOL 484L / BIOL 584L , ANTH 425/ESCI 425/POLS 425
