PHTH 705 - Physiology for the Medical Rehabilitation Professional

Description This foundational course examines the physiological principles that underlie human movement, health, and recovery. The course educates the rehabilitation specialist about the structure, function, and mechanisms of musculoskeletal, cardiovascular and respiratory, and neurological systems and uses what is known about metabolism and energy systems, adaptations to exercise, and pain and inflammatory processes to bridge gaps between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
