ELED 721 - DEVELOPING HANDS-ON INQUIRY-BASED MATHEMATICS AND SCIENCE TEACHING STRATEGIES

Description Course participants will learn new teaching strategies designed to promote inquiry and problem solving. Specific teaching models will be investigated and practiced, especially the Learning Cycle. Time will be devoted to lesson planning and the teaching and assessment of lessons taught to the class. Follow-up teaching in a K-12 school will be expected, along with documentation of results.
