HSC 761 - Measurement in Health Research

Description This course provides information on the fundamentals of measurement theory specific to health science research by exploring the psychometric properties of health measures and patient-reported outcome measures. Students will gain experience choosing the appropriate research method based on their research question. Various bias and measurement error issues specific to healthcare will be explored so the student can address limitations within their research design and selection of measurement tools.
