ANTH 425 - Introduction to Geographic Information Systems


Description This course in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) provides students with a basic introduction to the theory, principles, and practical applications of GIS. Problems addressed include natural sciences, social sciences, and business applications. Laboratory exercises include the use of both raster and vector-based GIS systems.
