ARTD 215 - Typography


Description This course provides a history of typography and its relevance in visual communication. Students will also be introduced to the basics of typography: glyphs, characters, anatomy, leading, kerning, typefaces, fonts, weights, styles, and more.

Prerequisites and Corequisites Prerequisite: ARTD 113, ARTD 205 - Digital Design  , ART 161, or MCOM 161 - Graphic Communication (C)  .
