Assistant Professor:

Isaiah Cohen, Ph.D., Louisiana State University. Specializations: Sociology of Education, Sociology of Law, Marriage and Family, Child Development, Deviance, Qualitative Methods, and Quantitative Methods.
 

Senior Lecturer:

Cheryl Hartman, Ph.D., South Dakota State University. Specializations: Partner Violence, Social Class, Third Culture Kids, Society and Culture.

Emeritus Faculty:

Dona Davis, Ph.D., University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Specialization: Cross-Cultural Studies, Gender Studies, Medical Anthropology, North Atlantic Maritime Cultures.

DEGREE

Although there is no graduate program in Sociology at USD, graduate students in other disciplines are welcome in the program’s 500-level courses. These courses complement several graduate programs and can be used to fulfill elective course requirements.
