The Information Technology Consultant Academy certificate program was established in 2013 through the joint efforts of Eagle Creek Software Services, the Governor’s Office for Economic Development, and the University of South Dakota. The program is intended to prepare students to join the workforce of Eagle Creek or another organization that values skills in technology and business. Certificate Requirements:

BADM 442 - Database Management for Business Professionals
Select one of the following courses:
CSC 180 - Introductory Programming for IT Consulting
CSC 250 - Computer Science II (C) and
CSC 250L - Computer Science II Laboratory (C)
BADM 441 - Project Management
Students who have already completed CSC 250/L should take BADM 441. Students who have already completed CSC 150/L: Computer Science I may take either CSC 180 or CSC 250/L. All other students must take CSC 180.
Select one of the following courses:
CSC 270 - Software Engineering for IT Consulting
CSC 470 - Software Engineering (C)
CSC 470 is restricted to students who have already completed CSC 350 or the equivalent. All other students must take CSC 270.
Select one of the following courses:
CSC 280 - Advanced Software Engineering for IT Consulting
CSC 492 - Topics (C) Advanced Software Engineering 3 cr
CSC 492 is restricted to students who have already completed CSC 470. All other students must take CSC 280.
