Master of Arts, Plan A (thesis): Total 30 credit hours
- History seminars 9 credit hours
- History electives 9 credit hours
- Thesis 6 credit hours
- Supporting courses outside of area 6 credit hours
Thesis
- Students must submit two permanent copies of their thesis to the Graduate School and one copy to the department. An oral examination is required of all Plan A students. Master of Arts, Plan B (non–thesis): Total 32 credit hours
- Written and oral examinations are required of all Plan B students.
- History seminars 9 credit hours
- History electives 15 credit hours
- Supporting courses outside of area 8 credit hours
Required History Seminars: 9 credit hours
Note:
- Graduate transfer credits are limited to nine hours and must receive approval from the department prior to graduation. |
