Operations and Supply Chain Management Minor

Pre-Minor Requirements (0-8 credit hours)

(Accounting, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Economics, and Finance majors will complete these within major requirements. All other students will need to take them as additional requirements if they are not in their program.)

• Take one of the following:

• BADM 220 - Business Statistics (C)
• STAT 281 - Introduction to Statistics (C) [SGR #5, HSDC]

• Take one of the following:

• MATH 121 - Survey of Calculus (C) [SGR #5, HSDC]
• MATH 123 - Calculus I (C) [SGR #5, HSDC]

Departmental Requirements (9 credit hours)

• BADM 321 - Business Statistics II (C)
• BADM 425 - Production/Operations Management (C)
• DSCI 427 - Supply Chain Management

Elective Requirement- Choose any three (9 credit hours)

• DSCI 426 - Lean Management
• DSCI 428 - Prescriptive Business Analytics
• DSCI 441 - Project Management
• DSCI 444 - Logistics and Distribution
• DSCI 446 - Transportation Management

Note:

Students pursuing an Operations and Supply Chain Management minor may double count the following courses for their major and the minor BADM 220 - Business Statistics (C)  or STAT 281 - Introduction to Statistics (C) [SGR #5, HSDC]  (or MATH 281),   BADM 321 - Business Statistics II (C) , BADM 425 - Production/Operations Management (C) , & MATH 121 - Survey of Calculus (C) [SGR #5, HSDC]  or  MATH 123 - Calculus I (C) [SGR #5, HSDC] .
