FIN 414 - Financial Derivatives This course discusses the basic characteristics of derivative instruments, such as forwards, futures, options, and swaps, and their applications to corporate strategy and risk management as well as to portfolio management. Topics include basic features of futures and options, option strategies, valuation and hedging techniques, financial risk management, and derivatives market mechanisms.
