BME 405 - Cell and Tissue Engineering (C) This course will introduce students to the basic concept of Cell and Tissue Engineering. Cellular engineering focuses on cell based therapies, while tissue engineering and regenerative medicine seek to repair tissue damages by engineering strategies. Concepts will include applied cell and tissue engineering in stem cell and cell therapy, gene therapy, biomaterials, and drug delivery.
Prerequisites and Corequisites Prerequisite: ISCI 335 or BME 335
Registration restriction: Junior standing required
