MUS 101 - Introduction to Musical Studies

This course is designed to introduce students to the study of music and to prepare them for success during their collegiate and professional musical career and beyond. It will present students with the resources available on campus, both inside and outside the College of Fine Arts, as well as focusing on strategies that foster good study habits, practice routines, performance skills, musicians’ health: mental, hearing and physical, time management, academic planning, goal setting, and music career exploration.
