ANTH 420 - Cultural & Heritage Resource Management Description This course introduces students to ideas and practices in the management of cultural heritage. It reveals how archaeologists retrieve and study evidence of the past through fieldwork and how museum curators preserve and interpret artifacts. It reviews cultural, social, political, and legal aspects involved in searching for and presenting the past to the public. The course also provides practical advice on the prospects for heritage management as a career.
