Minor Requirements (6 hours):

Beyond ENGL 101 and 210, or UHON 110, students earning a minor in Creative Writing must complete the following:

• ENGL 242 - American Literature II (C) [SGR #4, HSDC]
• ENGL 283 - Introduction to Creative Writing (C) [SGR #1, HSDC]

One of the following (3 hours):

• ENGL 221 - British Literature I (C) [SGR #4, HSDC]
• ENGL 222 - British Literature II (C) [SGR #4, HSDC]
• ENGL 241 - American Literature I (C) [SGR #4, HSDC]

Three of the following (9 hours):

• ENGL 475 - Creative Writing: Non-Fiction (C)
• ENGL 476 - Creative Writing: Fiction (C)
• ENGL 478 - Creative Writing: Poetry (C)
• ENGL 482 - Creative Writing II (C)
• ENGL 483 - Advanced Creative Writing (C)
